oookay. i'm at 12:50 and i'm seeing some plot problems.

1the bag could have been switched between the wife and the perp HER PARTNER! at the train stop when all those people bum-rushed past her onto the train. now, the transmitter on the bag's tag would have probably caused that switch to be spotted. so i'm thinking maybe she kept the tag on her person during that switch and tossed it out the window on the 'fake bag' later on. you don't put the transmitter ON the bag you dummies, you put the transmitter INSIDE the bag sewed into the lining.

2how in the fudge brownies was the perp supposed to find ONE bag after a dam discharge? that is THOUSANDS OF CUBIC FEET OF WATER! that bag could end up in the Pacific Ocean or the Sea of Japan or never found ever again. maybe, just MAYBE the tracker on the tag would help the perp find it. but that's why i think #1 'the switch' is more likely.

3 SCUBA/wetsuits' zippers don't keep water out. wetsuits are MEANT to get wet. that's why it is called a WETsuit! DRYsuits are the SCUBA gear that keep you dry. THEIR zippers would never work on a hand-bag/purse etc. because they're too hard to open and close.

4 they don't regularly schedule damn discharges. they're announced weeks in advance due to rainfall amounts, snowmelt, flooding conditions, bla bla bla. but not far enough in advance to plan an elaborate and complex crime like a kidnapping. you could perhaps predict the MONTH one happens frequently due to seasonal rainfalls and past discharges. but the exact date, time, and location would be a notice maybe a few days to a few weeks in advance of the discharge.

already i'm seeing a lot of problems with this one.
